Following on from the success of integrating high-street retailer JD Sports with online auction and shopping website eBay, RedStar have continued to work with the multi-national brand to establish other leading retailers on their website.
By working closely with the Enterprise Services team at eBay in London, RedStar have devised the “Flexible Listing Application” designed to take data feeds from clients and translate them into item listings via the eBay Trading API.
Flexible Lister will work with any given structure of XLS, XLSX or CSV file to produce listings, and custom parameters can be defined for each client, making the same tool compatible with the different requirements and constraints of any client.
Key functionality includes:
- Create single item listings
- Create multi-variant listings (different sizes, colours etc)
- De-list out of stock items
- Update quantity, price and description information for existing listings
- Export order details
- Full logging and error reporting for each process
- Command-line (for automation) or Windows application versions
- Setup with live environment and sandbox for testing purposes
To date, RedStar has worked with eBay and their clients directly and clients who have taken advantage of the Flexible Lister include companies such as Debenhams, Austin Reed and Blacks.
In addition to supporting the initial set-up and roll-out of the application, ongoing technical support is also offered to clients on either contract or non-contracted terms.
