Improved product catalog makes Energy even better!

We're pleased to announce key updates for our annual licence subscribers for RedStar Energy.   In recent months new customers have started to take advantage of our e-commerce platform with extensive product catalogs with several hundred products.

As part of our ongoing development of Energy, we have made available several key updates:

1. Enhanced product searching making the system quicker and faster
2. Improvements in Product Option editing
3. Ability to delete products and categories
4. Ability to remove images from products after they have been assigned

The latest upgrade to Energy follows soon after the discount voucher module that we announced yesterday. 

Customers subscribing to our product catalogue module will now be able to upload an unlimited number of images to each product rather than just one.   We can integrate this with a smart flash gallery to give you an animated series of product images... cool eh!

Even better is our smart interface that allows you to simply drag the images into the order you want them - a bit like arranging a pile of photographs on your desk... it's easy and straight forwards.

As part of the continued development of e-commerce package RedStar Energy, we're pleased to announce the addition of discount vouchers to the system.

The new functionality allows you to:

• Offer discounts based on percentages or set values
• Assign individual voucher codes to your campaigns
• Limit the number of a given voucher to a certain number of customers
• Encourage increased basket values via percentage discounts

We are also pleased to announce the launch of our competitions module - a great way to capture customer data and increase return visits to your site. The module comprises of:

• Create a new competition with one or more multiple-choice answers
• Users submit their details directly to the database - no longer do you have to manage 100s of entries via email
• Automatically pick a winner - totally impartial selection (maybe the ITV should have considered this!!!)
